Benjamin Ribéron
President
Benjamin Ribéron : I've been passionate about refereeing since I was 13, and started out with the UNSS, then very quickly turned to the French Athletics Federation (FFA). Refereeing in athletics taught me a lot of skills, and I wanted to pass on everything I'd learned. My aim is also to make the process of becoming an official easier and more accessible.
Michaël Jousse
Treasurer
Michaël Jousse : An athlete since the age of 6 and an official since the age of 14, I've also been a coach and club leader for several years. It's through all these facets that I satisfy my passion for athletics. It is also these different visions that I wish to share so that every official understands the link between their decisions and the impact they have on the athletes, coaches and club leaders around them. Through my participation in the ARBITRAGE ATHLÉTISME project, I aim to demystify the image of officiating and pass on my skills.
Corentin Cornette
Secretary
Corentin Cornette : In 2024, I'll be celebrating 20 years of FFA membership. A cross-country specialist who quickly moved over to judging, I obtained 3 diplomas as a young federal judge in minimes. I continued my training to become head judge for competitions at all levels. As a competition organizer, it's on the track that I feel at my best, at the service of the athletes. To pass on this passion, I run training sessions in the Aisne department, and it's only logical that I should put my skills at the service of the Athletics Refereeing Project.
Myriam Bégel
Member of the Board of Directors
Myriam Bégel : At the age of 9, I took up athletics, and more specifically race walking, for 10 years. Wanting to get back on the track a few years later, I took on the role of youth coach. As the departmental competitions were short of judges, just like the walking competitions I had taken part in when I was younger, it was obvious that I should train to help the competitions run smoothly. I've really taken to these new hats of Jump and Walk Judge, and I'd now like to use my IT skills to improve access to digital resources for training judges.
Corentin Buisson
Member of the Board of Directors
Corentin Buisson : I've been involved in athletics since I was 10, starting with "kids athletics" and then triathlons. When I reached the minime age group, I turned to middle-distance running and off-stadia races. To stay in touch with the track, I gradually turned to refereeing, which quickly became a passion. Starting out as a young federal judge for jumps, I went on to pass the regional and then federal start judge exams, and for the last 2 years I've been a starter and start manager for the FF Sport Adapté. I've also taken part in training for UNSS starters and in my league, it was to develop access to the rules for officials that I decided to join the ARBITRAGE ATHLÉTISME project.

Jean Anglade : Passionate about sport, I practiced athletics for 8 years. In my third year, I specialized in pole vaulting. As an athlete, I took part in a large number of competitions. Thanks to this experience, I have a better understanding of how an event works and the vital role of the judges. I'm currently studying computer science, and I intend to put my knowledge to good use to provide easy access to the videos on the site.

Maxime Zajko : Passionate about athletics since the age of 13, I agreed to become a judge to make up for the lack of officials in my club. Since then, it has become a passion in which I wish to invest myself in order to progress and pass on what I have been taught about this sport to which I owe so much. That's why I agreed to join ARBITRAGE ATHLÉTISME.

Kevin Legrand : I've been practicing athletics since I was 9. I quickly started judging as soon as I became a junior in both the FFA and the UNSS. I quickly developed a passion for refereeing and passed the regional and federal exams for young judge, then referee, start judge and photo-finish judge. Today, I'm involved in training young judges and referees for my committee and the LIFA. I think this is a really promising project, as it will provide connected and innovative information for all those wishing to discover the rules of athletics.

Melissa Tourdias : I've been involved in athletics for 5 years, starting out as an athlete and naturally supporting my club, which asked me to get involved. Initially helping a coach, I quickly progressed to become in charge of a benjamin group. Then I discovered the role of judge, to fill a persistent gap. In this role, I was able to discover the good atmosphere that reigned and made me stay, I also met new people and above all found my role models. I'm currently at the UFR STAPS and would like to study APAS in order to work in this field. If today I'm involved in ARBITRAGE ATHLÉTISME, it's to pass on all the passion I've acquired as a judge, just as I pass on to my athletes the values of athletics that my elders taught me.

Aurélien Rossefelder : I started athletics at secondary school with the UNSS, then I started the Jeunes Officiels program. I loved it. I started by officiating throws, then jumps and finally the start, where I finished as a National Young Official. And after meeting a few people, I continued with the FFA. As time went by, I learned a lot and got more and more involved in officiating. I passed several regional and federal exams. Now, I'm still learning from the various competitions I take part in, and trying as best I can to pass on this knowledge to newcomers. When I was asked to join the Arbitrage Athlétisme association, I thought it was an interesting project, a new way of learning the rules of the sport I'm passionate about. So I agreed to join Arbitrage Athlétisme to share my knowledge and experience.

Alexandre Bourasseau : I started out in athletics in Brittany in 2006, thanks to the AS of my high school in Rennes, where I followed the "Jeune Officiel" course right up to national certification. Then, quite naturally, I pursued refereeing within the FFA in various clubs in France, all the way up to Marseille today. At the same time, I'm the departmental "Young Judges" referent and president of the youth commission within the Bouches-du-Rhône departmental committee.

Géraud Desoulle : I started athletics in 2014, then in 2016 I began my officiating course at an Equip'Athlé Challenge to accompany my club's team. A year later, I decided to specialize as a Jump Judge. After several years and a large number of competitions, I wanted to perfect my skills by passing the Chief Jump Judge level.

Mathieu Bertin : 11 boxes of licenses behind me, and a few judging diplomas obtained during that period, it was a life encounter that led me to become a spare part in athletics. "You know, we need people with your profile. you're going to lend a hand..." First carrying mats... then helping... then joining a club's executive committee, training to give the best of what can be done for club members, such is the road we've travelled, and which today means that the pleasure of doing this for athletes, for the greatest number, hand in hand with those who have now become friends, is priceless!

Alexandre Bloquel : I started athletics at the age of 12 thanks to a friend who encouraged me to join his club in Charleville-Mézières, in the Ardennes. One day, the club asked me to train as an interclub judge. I loved it, and today I'm Chief Race Judge. My commitment to the sport of athletics and its athletes has been driven by memorable encounters and events, now as a trainer, and soon as a manager and referee. I'm delighted to be able to share my experience with as many people as possible through Arbitrage Athlétisme.

Léo Lefebvre : I discovered the world of athletics through the UNSS, then through a friend who took me to his club. I took out my first license at the age of 14, and quickly specialized in middle-distance running. In 2019, at the club's request, I became a coach and official. Two worlds at once different and similar. Since then, I've evolved in these 2 areas to become a U12 educator and head judge for jumps and throws. I'm also studying STAPS in Lille, to become a school teacher. In my desire to pass on knowledge, particularly to young people, joining the association became a must. Now I'm even more keen to share my passion with as many people as possible!

Rémi Charbonnier : Passionate about running and music, which I've been practicing for over 10 years, I enrolled in the STAPS program in Clermont-Ferrand with the aim of becoming a PE teacher. ARBITRAGE ATHLÉTISME allows me to combine my two great passions by creating a sound identity specific to the site's videos. I hope this project will also give me a great deal of experience in the fields of communication and creation.

Charlotte Rongier : I started athletics at the age of 5 at the municipal sports school, where a French pole-vaulter spotted me at the age of 9 and invited me to join a pole-vaulting group. I haven't left athletics since, and after studying STAPS, I'm currently a sports educator with the Puy-de-Dôme athletics committee. I'm passionate about audiovisuals and computers, and through Arbitrage Athlétisme I hope to share my passions and help develop the association.
